Tim Davis
Tim Davis, who is deaf, works at the Walmart in Morganton, NC.
His
responsibilities include collecting, managing and sorting carts as well
as working with other team members to help customers with their
groceries.
Tim’s VR counselor helped him find the job and after passing all of the requirements, he began working in February 2018.
He
really enjoys his job, especially being able to help others and feels
that there are no “language” barriers between him and his colleagues or
with customers. He is proud to be able to support himself.
Tim plans to keep climbing the career ladder at Walmart to become an assistant manager where he hopes to help even more people. He loves being able to pay off bills and save for a car as well as for a future family.

Preparing the carts to bring back into the store, Tim is an integral part of the team that makes every customer’s experience as easy as possible.
When he’s not helping customers bring their groceries to their cars, Tim pushes carts back to the store and organizes them.
