Jonathan Greeson
Jonathan Greeson, who was born with spinal muscular atrophy, has known since high school that he wanted to be a financial advisor.
After completing his degree in business management with a concentration on finance at NC State, he moved back to his hometown of Pikeville, NC to fulfill his ambition.
“It's been a slow build,” Jonathan explains. He currently relies partially on disability assistance, but his goal is to eventually expand his business to the point where he doesn't need those benefits anymore.
Outside of work, Jonathan has published a book and he started the North Carolina Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association in 2002. For 15 years, he traveled throughout the country and to Canada to compete with his teammates.
On nice days, he can take his electric wheelchair outside and travel to his office in Downtown Pikeville, which isn’t far from the house he shares with his parents.
Jonathan, whose doctors didn't expect to live past the age of two, says that his guiding principle has been to "find your passion and whatever you really want to do. Then, pursue that."

In addition to his passion for financial advising, Jonathan is also an avid artist and loves sports - especially hockey.
Jonathan works at one of his home office stations in the house that he shares with his parents in Pikeville. He finds that he is able to help his clients no matter where he works.
