Eddie Maney
Eddie Maney is an Independent Living
Specialist and lives with quadriplegia in Sylva, NC where works at
Disability Partners, a Center for Independent Living.

an Independent Living Specialist, he provides support to peers with
disabilities, independent living skills training, advocacy, referrals
and transitional services for Cherokee, Clay, Macon, Graham, Swain,
Jackson and Haywood counties.
Eddie has enjoyed this position for over 16 years and loves to help and work with people.
His job has allowed him to afford the assistive technology of a minivan with various modifications that provide him the independence to travel on his own.
