Julia Sheridan
Julia Sheridan is an upbeat goal-driven young woman living with epilepsy.
She is currently a full-time freshman in the coveted College of Textiles at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
Julia’s
passion lies within the fashion industry from the concept of design to
how it inspires current trends. She is committed to her ultimate goal of
a successful career in fashion.
Julia envisions
working abroad for a large fashion brand house as a buyer or in
marketing, perhaps in Milan, Italy. She desires to someday be happily
married with a beautiful family while balancing it all.
When Julia encounters challenges, her motto is to adapt and find solutions to problems. When asked, she says that her attitude and drive are her greatest assets.
Julia holds up a fashion magazine to convey her love for fashion and eventual goal of working in the industry. She is captivated by the inspiration of a design, the culture it came from, the materials used and the trends it may inspire.
Julia Sheridan stands proudly as a young woman with epilepsy. It is important to her to tell her story and empower others to reach their own goals.
As a freshman at the College of Textiles, she believes that her attitude and her perspective on her disability are what have helped in achieving her goals.
Holding one of her favorite fashion magazines, InStyle, Julia shares that her role model is her older sister, Maria, who also has epilepsy. She has admired her sister’s experience as a student at Duke University where she is on the swim team.
As a college freshman, Julia has her goals set. She is committed to her ultimate goal of a successful career in fashion and working abroad for a large fashion brand house as a buyer or in marketing.
