disability, and works with ABM contracting at the Western Piedmont
Community College in Morganton, NC.
After
receiving assistance from NC Department of Health and Human Services and
SSI, John was able to obtain almost a year ago and continues to thrive
in the position now.
His many responsibilities include custodial duties, maintenance and groundskeeping at the college campus.
John's previous employment was commercial painting and he feels that it
prepared him well for a job that requires him to “make things look
nice."
Having this job has allowed John to get his life on track and gives him a purpose day in and day out.
